As a youngster, I managed to get a living housefly into a balloon, along with a bit of cheese for food. It survived several days inside that balloon. I should've submitted that as a science fair project. I forget if the fly died eventually or if I popped the balloon to let it free.

Seem to me that many, if not all kids have a misophonia period. In the vast majority of people it quickly passes (me, my kids, others I've spoken to). I think it is part of a developing consciousness, involving how odd eating, particularly meat can seem to a child. When it becomes an adult condition, that is truly weird, and fairly rare I think.
