I do that on my way to/from work because I lose FM reception sporadically and cell service sporadically

hey guido, still listening to wdr1 sometimes? a few days ago they played wham (wake me up before u gogo) 26 times in 3 hours. and nothing else. :-)

All listerners were to be punished by 1Live?
I remember well to be hating this song back in the 80ies.
Way toooooo much airplay.

WDR2 used to be a torture!
30 songs or so all year through.
And SWF3 -very popular- heavy rotation stuff only.
There was quite some good stuff I happened to seriously hate because I had noch chance to switch off the radio.

And Whamm where everywhere on the channels.

By the way the delay effects on this early Klaus Schulze is the typical sound you get from the Revox tape-machines.

They two seperate recording and playback heads and if you feed back the output, you get the echo. There were also external devices for manipulating the speed.
