	🦇 12:34pm Granny Spicy Tuna (they/them): "Dune" totally flopped when it came out, however, as with so many initial flops, it is getting a lot more appreciation these days. "Blade Runner" was a flop, and today the glorious Final Cut will be screened at SF's finest film palace.

How they thought we'd be able to read these in the dark I dunno. Felt like the act of a nervous marketing department. I hadn't read the book before seeing it and my mid-teen self had no problem following the dialogue/lingo.
