	4:57pm doctorjazz: Ahh, @PB, my wife is of the, "if you haven't used it in 6 months,throw it out" mindset. I,on the other hand, an a collector, hoarder, hate throwing stuff out, makes for an interesting dynamic. Our 2 daughters split evenly along those lines as well.

Her parents spent about 20 years building a six bedroom house, one level (3 bedrooms) intended as a rental property for income when they retired. Only problem is momma was a hoarder, and only 2 bedrooms could be slept in by the time she passed. 2 garages, only one of which could hold a single car. 4 dumpsters and about a dozen full size pickup runs to Goodwill to clear it

The problem is, my sweetie will pull all of the books i'm trying to get rid of out of the going away pile. We will be smothered under books someday, and he has no remorse.

	5:33pm doctorjazz: @Fred, I went through a phase about 20 years ago where I alphabetized and created a database of all my LPs and CDs set the time (which was about 6,000 units...i had more free time then). Since then,though, I've struggled to keep it that way (and added many more albums), managed to keep it semi organized but much chaos exists in the midst of the original structure.

	5:33pm doctorjazz: @Fred, I went through a phase about 20 years ago where I alphabetized and created a database of all my LPs and CDs set the time (which was about 6,000 units...i had more free time then). Since then,though, I've struggled to keep it that way (and added many more albums), managed to keep it semi organized but much chaos exists in the midst of the original structure.
