Was up at the Cape last week. Had to get out of the water for an hour anytime there was a shark spotted. They seem to have a functional system of spotted them with planes and alerting the lifeguards.
Apex predators are a sign of a “healthy” ecology.

Last Oct. I was at an art teacher conference in Long Branch, NJ. and the presenter of one particular workshop had a name tag that read “Steve Pelligrino” so, as you can imagine I went up to him after the presentation and asked if he listened to WFMU and Wake n Bake. Well, it was not our Pelly and of course ( as ALWAYS happens to me) the guy had no freakin idea what I was talking about and gave me a confused and awkward, who the fuck is this guy hype response.
