Coincidentally, I took my daughter for a double tooth extraction a few months ago.

Thanks, This is a general call out to artists to participate in a publishing project, looking for 20 drawings from 20 people. Click here to check all the details, I'm really hoping to have all the drawings by the end of the month. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1IXo3s8mtfa-btd4VAe5zJapSkkTeZmhEPqMjYPuMX-w/edit?usp=sharing

The video (https://youtu.be/JOSqbS2Q6Gw) for Madhouse is odd . They have what appear to be cult members faking it on instruments . On the harmonica solo they show a hippie playing flute.
The first rule of cult club is,... there is no cult. Prince Rama’s growing up club had good food at least,... they are available most weekends at Washington Square Park,... but don’t go there,... smoke cigarettes, eat mushrooms and onions, gamble and have a lot of sex instead.
Speaking of cult music, my daughter absolutely loves Left Hand of Darkness's "I Wanna Get Stoned" (not the tooth extraction daughter but the other one).
Can't wait for Ken to explain what the heck is the "Strain Crack & Break: Music from the Nurse With Wound List Volume 1" album. I just read an online review and I they lost me at the first sentence "The Nurse With Wound List is probably the most notorious record collecting document there is".
Ken's show is so good to have on while doing laundry. I pack my clothes and detergent and quarters and head out to laundromat. I return, and Ken is still on the stereo. Oh Ken, i need you more than want...

Yes. Ken's show is better experienced when doing the laundry. I can attest that.

I remember many years ago you broadcast part of the Charlie manson parole hearing. That was truly nutty. He boasted that he could take apart a motorcycle and reassemble it faster than any living American president. Impressive.
Ken- Does this mean I could do the legal id every week at 8:14 and 8:16 and still be in compliance with the rules?

The only cult I have energy to belong too anymore is the Ken Kult of Vibrational Goat Screams and other Aural Hallucinations disguised as Music. I submit my most humble obeisances to the Master!
Well, o.k.,Ken, if you must—just don't use-up all your scepticism on the best-known hypothesis, save some for the alternate ones presented you. Look for places where juxtaposition were treated as causation, association as proof of conspiracy, and the like.
As always, Lorne Greene's "Propaganda" game is a great guide to pseudo-arguments, e.g. appeals to authority, ad hominem, excluded middle,….

mstern,
How did i miss that? What year was that? I don't think it's in Ken's archives.
I consider "I've Never Been to Me" to have the worst lyrics ever to hit a Marantz all-in-one stereo. A balding, be–coke-spooned notion of what fulfills women that rhymes 'Georgia' with 'California'.
Note that I'm not mindlessly bigoted against the pop hits of my youth: "Alone Again[ Naturally]", cheesy though it is, is kind of perfect.
Shalom, Granny Spicy Tuna!!! Your jet lag from Israel will work in your favor. Good to see you today. I'm going to head out to work now. Bye bye!!!!!!!!!
The Butterman, I read your phone story about running up to a man wearing a Steve Pelllegrino name tag. That was hilarious. Spoke to Pellegrino afterwards. He loved that story.
so far the only WFMU listener encounter i've has was with someone i've known for decades who lurks on the boards and said they figured out it was me by something i said
Hey Boods! Thanks for your feedback. Not the first time I’ve confused people. I have a way of confusing people. They often don’t know if I’m serious or joking.

I'm a bit busy today, Ken, otherwise I'd help you with the labels.
But I'm pretty good at guessing labels just by listening few seconds of a song. That one from Munya is Katapult records.

This one from My Bloody Valentine is....is...Wait...I can feel it..It's from Team Jazz records.
A little minutiae for ya.....Bowie was on a great BBC radio show in '79 called "Star Special" where stars played DJ for a hour or so and one of his fab picks was "Helen Forsdale" by DNA from No New York:
