	2:19am Scraps: I missed Paul Bowles and “Ecstatic State of Mutilation”, but the title reminds me =vividly= of the scene in Paul Bowles’s story “The Delicate Prey”, where a Arab slices off a boy’s penis, slashes open the boy’s stomach, and inserts the severed penis in the wound. Told clinically. Brrrrrrrr.
