Go see Big Al at the Funky Pirate on Burbon.
Then 2 blocks down to Lafitte’s, an old old OLD pirate bar. Guy plays piano in the back and can play just about anything.
Frenchman’s St got some cool music pubs, and its not the Burbon St crowd. Good in the early evening.
Also check out St. Louis Cathedral, very cool night scene of lite up statue of Mary. On Royal St side; the shadow reflects off the Cathedral.
In the morning visit Cafe Du Monde along the river and have some beignets. It’s on Decatur which is another cool strip with lots to see. Also on Decatur, stop at the dive bar “The Abby” a Todd O’ Phonic recommendation!
Remember, time is one hour ahead so W&B comes on at 5 and ends at 8.... Stay aware of you surrounds and have fun.
