	6:23pm Mr Fab: Weirdly enough, seeing Blowfly (on a double-bill with Rudy Ray Moore) was one of the most star-studded shows I've ever been to. Recognizable faces all around.

	9:03pm Otis Fodder: I just found that album last week. It had a sticker on it someone wrote, funky japanese soundtrack. Listened in shop and took it home and was very excited to look on Discogs and found out that it's with members of The Spiders. Love GS bands.
	9:04pm Otis Fodder: Not sure if Spiders would be considered Group Sounds. I only know the tip of that scene, but love it.

	9:11pm Mayuko: @Otis I know nothing about it, but that TV series went on for many years, and I remember from my childhood that kids would sing the opening theme song changing the lyrics. I thought the show was funny because everything (acting and music and all) seemed really over the top. Was a bit too young to really understand the story, though.

	9:40pm Martinibomb: So I didn't mention it today but Maxx Bass opened for People like Us in Portland once back in the 90s he was part of an electronic/experimental duo
	9:41pm Otis Fodder: Still alive and looking forward to ice cream with mango top of the hour.
	9:41pm Otis Fodder: Oh nice, what was the duo name? Do you recall?
	9:42pm Martinibomb: I can't remember and I can only vaguely recall it.
	9:44pm Otis Fodder: That's cool. Visited Portland a few times (after moving to Seattle) but that was late 90s, 1997 and on to when I left in 2005. Saw a number of shows but did not catch PLU until 2005 while in San Fran.
	9:49pm Martinibomb: Portland is a cool place it's got some growing pains right now and a seedy underbelly in it's history.
	9:50pm Otis Fodder: Last visit is when I played there and we met up in 2010.
	9:50pm Otis Fodder: I have been following the news on Portlandia though. ;-)

	9:03pm Otis Fodder: I just found that album last week. It had a sticker on it someone wrote, funky japanese soundtrack. Listened in shop and took it home and was very excited to look on Discogs and found out that it's with members of The Spiders. Love GS bands.

I thought the show was funny because everything (acting and music and all) seemed really over the top. Was a bit too young to really understand the story, though.

	9:44pm Otis Fodder: That's cool. Visited Portland a few times (after moving to Seattle) but that was late 90s, 1997 and on to when I left in 2005. Saw a number of shows but did not catch PLU until 2005 while in San Fran.
