when the wall came out i dismissed the pink floyd. yet another favorite band turned to shit, in my opinion. my brother, knowing i Loved pink floyd and not knowing i wanted nothing to do with the wall, gave me the album for xmas, which i still have...played maybe 3 times, except side 2 played maybe 6x.

Julie i understand why people liked the wall so much. it's just that everything said on the album they had said already before, more subtly. and (as indicated^) it's drawn out for effect, like it's this epic masterpiece...which i guess is what some people think it is; but i just think it's drawn out.
