Hello Mr. Fine Wine and DT Souls
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:03pm
Matt from New Orleans:

The label name reminds me of Carvel in pronunciation. I miss Fudgie the Whale.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:06pm
Mr. Fine Wine:

Hey, Chresti. I have never become a fan of Carvel despite my 32 years in NYC!

Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:12pm
Matt from New Orleans:

I got my answer and indeed it was. I could sense the presence of Dave Bartholomew in that Roy Brown track.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:13pm
Mr. Fine Wine:

Is it listed on cosimocode.com?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:14pm

That version of My Bonnie may be obscure but damn it was great!. Probably the only version of the tune I have actually ever really cared for whatsoever.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:41pm
Mr. Fine Wine:

Mostly agree, Sean. But it kind of loses its way a bit toward the end, I think.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:42pm
Parq:

Joining the playlist after dinner. Belated thanks for playing Roy Brown's "Little Eva", a long-time favorite of mine.

Period. Beautiful Impressions influence on this track for sure!. Beautiful man!, thanks for the sweet soul tonight bud. Enjoy your weekend.
Avatar 8:52pm
Sonny Rickles:

Had to Favorite this one too! You the man, Mr. Fine Wine!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 8:54pm
Matt from New Orleans:

Sorry for the confusion Mr Fine Wine. I wanted to correct myself. Slow Down Little Eva was recorded at the Cosimo Recording Studio on Gov Nicholls. J&M closed in 1956 when he opened on Gov Nicholls. Thanks for the tunes tonight. Cosimo only started using the matrix system in 1960 so that’s why the code starts then.
