Mr. Pumpy:

Yeah, Sheila! That Van Halen cover was killer! If I don't tutor on Friday afternoons, which I try to avoid like leprosy, I tune in and then I'm in it until the end. Good show, mate! I have to ride it out like someone on the horse...lest I suffer withdrawals...

This Black Snakes song sounds a lot better than my reaction when I saw a 5 footer hanging out on my cellar steps a couple days ago.

i hate when i have the radio on as background and then i have to turn on the computer and log in and see what the magic i'm listening to is. actually i don't mind at all....this is gorgeous!

Mr. Pumpy:

@djsheilab You've given me an idea for a niche market wherein people want really specific sampled vinyl hiss. I can end up with thousands of real samples. "What are you in the market for today, a hiss form the beginning of The Stone's Tattoo You that has been outside of it's sleeve in an attic for 20 years, or perhaps the hiss off of a bad pressing of the Urban Outfitters limited release of Shania Twain's 'Now' (limited to 100,000)? What's that, the inner groove of The Monster Mash 45 on Parrot records? Not a problem! Why I just digitized that one last Tuesday." There are a lot of distinct vinyl hisses out there. Any backers on the board here? Is this Kickstarter ready? HISS FACTORY!

Funny “hiss” is now

P-90:

Funny that “hiss” is now a topic here, I was thinking that “Smart Boy” near the top of the show had just the right seasoning of dirt in the grooves

@P-90 (I'm imagining that's an electric geetar pickup reference, I love me some P-90s) anyhow...see...'Smart Boy' had just the right grit. I'm starting this company. Anyone want to get in on the ground-floor...it will be akin to Apple starting in a garage! We can also eventually ruin a lot of great things in the world. Kidding...it's all about the hissssssssssssssss!
