Rich in Washington:

Buddy Starcher really liked lists. I think maybe now we'd say he was on the spectrum.
Avatar 7:08pm
spacebrother:

I like his spectrum.
Avatar 📖 7:09pm
Mr Fab:

i wonder if that will be the new schooyard taunt: "Dude, what is wrong with you, Are you on the spectrum?"
Avatar 7:12pm
spacebrother:

I'm surprised it's not a band name yet. Maybe it is.

Mr Fab:

'twas an amazing thing to come across the Elvis' Greatest Shit bootleg. Bought it on the spot, and it was not cheap; $17 as I recall, when most vinyl was in the $7 range in the 80s. And I was poor student.

Hopey Sockmonkey:

This Bill Shatner gif is keeping groovy time to Light My Fire.
Avatar 7:14pm
spacebrother:

Hey Hopey! Yes, he usually does.

Rich in Washington:

Whenever I think of the word Spectrum, I think of the teenage dance venue called that that opened in the little town I grew up in. Dudes with garbagey looking muscle cars would go to get in fights with 'New Waver' kids who went there.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:16pm
Rich in Washington:

Hopey! It's super hard to beat-match GIFs, but it can apparently be done!
Avatar 7:16pm
spacebrother:

THat's when EVERYONE is on the spectrum.

I would like a Shatner metronome for my birthday.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:30pm

Benny Bell sounds a bit like Larry David.

Sorry I got here late and missed the Elvis' Greatest Shit track.
Avatar 7:33pm
spacebrother:

OMG, you're right.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:33pm
Rich in Washington:

I want those SitKoZ 3 and 4 but the OCD completist in me wants them as CDs like my vols. 1 & 2. Maybe I AM on the spectrum.
Avatar 7:33pm
spacebrother:

@ Hopey - It was very short. Chow will be archived in a couple of hours.
Avatar 7:34pm
spacebrother:

@ Rich. I had the same thought. Oh no.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:38pm
Rich in Washington:

Like I won't buy a random record/CD from a series unless I am certain I can get all of them. Not that I have that kind of record 'walkin' around money'.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:39pm
Rich in Washington:

I'll bet Eckankar followers got real tired of hearing 'it just is' to every question they'd ask.
Avatar 7:39pm
spacebrother:

OK, I guess I'm not that bad. I guess I don't have the completist gene or money
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:42pm
Rich in Washington:

Whenever I think of Eckankar, I remember the tiny upstairs storefront office they had for years in my town, in a very dilapidated business plaza. It seemed like Eckankar was spray-stenciled on the metal door.
Avatar 7:44pm
spacebrother:

Years ago, I worked with a very socially awkward guy. He was big into Eck. I used to whistle Eckankar songs around him to see if he would react. Nothing.

Sounds like something they would play as they put you death to make into soylent green.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 7:56pm

Yes! I always think that whenever I hear something super smooth and saccharine! I think that scene made a huge impression on me as a very young kid.
