dont worry fred, it is only the act i finale. act ii will be bigger and better!
Avatar 5:43am
Billy Jam:

@Bronwyn - yes and speaking of recent losses and an artist u played earlier - and Disney music - lets not forget that Leon Redbone contributed to the 2003 Will Ferrell movie "Elf" as the voice of Leon The Snowman and most markedly sang great duet with Zooey Deschanel of the holiday season classic "Baby It's Cold Outside" - @Fred -hiya over there in France @diciasset te- yes have been at that rekkid store back when it opened when I did a WFMU live remote broadcast out of the shop (in fact G Spot who joined me on air out of WFMU studios one week ago came thru too) - but did not know the shop was closing - although his former biz partner in the record shop had told me recently that he had cut out of the biz that was (understandably) a challenge - @Bronwyn B like all other listeners of your show am gonna miss hearing u on the air
Avatar 5:47am
BronwynB:

@billy: the first time i ever heard of leon redbone was in Elf! yes they sang baby it's cold outside written by frank loesser, songwriter of many musicals including guys and dolls (so when people complain about that song being problematic i feel the need to defend a member of the musical theatre squad)
