	3:07pm joe: I was lucky enough to see Ween play one of their first NYC shows and I think it might have been one of their first shows outside of the Trenton NJ area.
	3:08pm Rich in Washington: Gonna drive down the street to pick up a Pakistani lamb biryani, but will be listening on my mo-bile deevice.
	3:08pm Otis Fodder: Cool Joe! Caught them in 2000 in Seattle and 2007 in Toronto. The White Pepper 2000 show in Seattle was killer. They played PF Echoes in full at the end.

I plastered the whole placein white plastic and then put up black lights every where .. totally freaky best event I ever did

	4:23pm joe: I read an article years ago about the top 50 "Dirtiest" album covers of all time. I think the Ohio Players has 9 on there LOL
	4:25pm DJ GeorgyGirl: @joe - there's an also an interview somewhere with the model about the whole process and how she ended up glued solid for hours! Apparently the honey and the hot studio lights created a basic solid toffee. They spent something like three very careful hours ungluing her so as not to damage her skin. Ouch! Astounding cover image there. :-)

	4:30pm Rich in Washington: That scream was some poor girl being murdered in the studio! Not just some stock recording of roller coaster riders after all! My cousin's best friend's teacher's pastor said it and everything, so it HAS to be true!
	4:30pm Otis Fodder: Oh Rich, I don't know about this urban legend. Gotta look it up. Early to mid 70s Ohio Players are so good. Pleasure with Funky Worm alone, my god.
	4:30pm joe: I would love to see a Rock & Roll Babylon book of some sort. It would have to be very low key though as you would get sued to hell and back.
	👻 4:30pm Kat in Chicago: Duane on the main stream plays a Psychemagik rework of David Crosby's "Orleans", called "Valley of Paradise," that is just gorgeous.
	4:32pm Rich in Washington: I just remember being horrified that they kept playing it on the radio. No doubt my fears were stoked by my older siblings who took delight in screwing with each other's heads.
	4:32pm Otis Fodder: Oh wow, thanks Kat. I'll check out Duane's archives. I listen to Duane and Irwin in Archives a bunch catching up on that Wed action.

	4:49pm Martinibomb: I got to Dj a roller skating rink a comple times and loved it! Super fun. I did the thing I loved when I was a kid the "Stop Game" where the Dj stops the record and anybody left moving has to clear the rink. Love that game

	4:49pm Mr Fab: That "I Will Survive" was amazing, even if I am still traumatized by having to square dance with my class mates in grade school who were absolutely disgusted with the idea of having to actually touch me. Having said that, I do prize my square-dance "Tiny Bubbles" record.

	4:54pm Mr Fab: Kraftwerk were all over KROQ when "Computer World " came out. When they'd play LA it was in huge venues like the hollywood Bowl. Living here def gave me a skewed perspective
	4:55pm Rich in Washington: Some friend in High School gave me an 8-track of Autobahn (that his dad no longer wanted) because I told him I had an 8 track player and I played that tape to death. I still expect that ka-THUNK, switching tracks sound right in the middle of the title track when I listen to it to this day.
	4:56pm Rich in Washington: I remember seeing Kraftwerk LPs in Musicland as a teenager but they were expensive imports which NEVER went on sale.

	4:56pm Martinibomb: yeah it's hard for me to imagine a world without kraftwerk now. I mean they might be my fave band or very close. but for the first 20 years of my life I never got to hear them.
	4:57pm Martinibomb: When I first moved to Portland and had a graveyard job this coworker from Chicago who was really into music was like, "You've never heard of Kraftwerk?" And totally took pity on me.. schooled me on all that stuff and beyond

	4:58pm Rich in Washington: I love Computer World. I know there's this Kraut snobbery thing that tends to look down on their 70s, Emil Schult inspired era, but I love it.

	4:59pm Rich in Washington: If you can find it, that Kraftwerk and the Electronic Revolution documentary is quite good. Really long, but very good.
	4:59pm Otis Fodder: @MB - Just looked it up: ""Here Comes the Night" is a song written by Brian Wilson and Mike Love for the American rock band The Beach Boys. It was originally released on their 1967 album, Wild Honey. In 1979, the song was re-recorded and released on their 1979 album, L.A. (Light Album), as a disco song lasting nearly eleven minutes."

	3:08pm Otis Fodder: Cool Joe! Caught them in 2000 in Seattle and 2007 in Toronto. The White Pepper 2000 show in Seattle was killer. They played PF Echoes in full at the end.

Apparently the honey and the hot studio lights created a basic solid toffee. They spent something like three very careful hours ungluing her so as not to damage her skin. Ouch! Astounding cover image there. :-)

	4:55pm Rich in Washington: Some friend in High School gave me an 8-track of Autobahn (that his dad no longer wanted) because I told him I had an 8 track player and I played that tape to death. I still expect that ka-THUNK, switching tracks sound right in the middle of the title track when I listen to it to this day.

It was originally released on their 1967 album, Wild Honey. In 1979, the song was re-recorded and released on their 1979 album, L.A. (Light Album), as a disco song lasting nearly eleven minutes."
