	6:07pm Rich in Washington: Been a crazy day! Listening to everybody today but doing stuff around the house, tidying up, trying to incorporate new equipment in my little studio.

	6:10pm Rich in Washington: I had no idea he was such a great monologist. I've liked his essays, but didn't know he read them with such vigor. This is amazing.

	6:20pm Mr Fab: yep, Ellison used to sometimes host a radio show on KPFK Pacifica radio in LA. it was ostensibly a sci-fi themed show, but of course, Harlan would just go off.

	6:22pm Rich in Washington: I recall his really incendiary essay following John Lennon's assassination. Probably the first really sane, albeit angry, rant regarding guns in America that I remember reading.
	6:23pm Rich in Washington: Stang was the king of the unhinged rant. I've been to a few Devivals and he's one of the best. Onan Canobite is also particularly nuts.
