Like a circle in a spiral
Like a wheel within a wheel
Never ending nor beginning
On an ever-spinning reel
Like a snowball down a mountain
Or a carnival balloon
Like a carousel that's turning
Running rings around the moon
Like a clock whose hands are sweeping
Past the minutes of its face
And the world is like an apple
Whirling silently in space
Like the circles that you find
In the windmills of your mind
Like a tunnel that you follow
To a tunnel of its own
Down a hollow to a cavern
Where the sun has never shone
Like a door that keeps revolving
In a half-forgotten dream
Like the ripples from a pebble
Someone tosses into a stream
Like a clock whose hands are sweeping
Past the minutes of its face
And the world is like an apple
Whirling silently in space
Like the circles that you find
In the windmills of your mind!
Keys that jingle in your pocket
Words that jangle in your head
Why did summer go so quickly?
Was it something that I said?
Lovers walk along the shore
And leave their footprints in the sand
Is the sound of distant drumming
Just the fingers of your hand?
Pictures hanging on a hallway
or the fragment of a song,
half-remembered names and faces
but to whom do they belong?
When you knew that it was over
Were you suddenly aware
That the autumn leaves were falling
To the color of her hair?
Like a circle in a spiral
Like a wheel within a wheel
Never ending nor beginning
On an ever-spinning reel
As the images unwind
Like the circles that you find
In the windmills of your mind

If you have ever considered being a donor, please please don’t let this deter you. There are people out there who don’t have a match in their families or circles of friends. BE the match for them!

Dale, have you ever had general anesthetic to get impacted wisdom teeth pulled? Risk of death there. Etc etc...
It is extraction of marrow from either pelvic bone, or sternum in some cases. Extracted via rather large ‘needle’ while you’re out like a light. Post op, you take an iron supplement to replenish anemic marrow, and you feel sore for a few weeks.
Nothing is without risk. The potential to save or vastly improve the life of someone suffering a bone marrow failure disease is worth the risk in my opinion.

Bone marrow donor here:
I joined the national marrow registry decades ago, when a family organized a blood drive in a small town near me, to find a possible match for their son recently diagnosed with leukemia.
I got a call years later that I was a potential match for someone else. Did the step two bloodwork but no match that time.
Giant life twist years on... I ended up donating for my own sister. Longer story there. Short version: engraftment happened. But she died months later of lung failure. Ie she was so beaten to a pulp by the initial disease, organ failure was tough to endure.
Would I do it again? 100 times over if it could possibly save her, or anyone else.
