	9:47pm Sam Segal: American Water is where many people start. For the first few albums, Stephen Malkmus of Pavement was a core member of Silver Jews. His influence on American Water is very present. Personally, I am more of a fan of the post-Malkmus material. For that, I might start with "Tanglewood Numbers."
