I just tried the pop-up player, and it's working swell for me. ...although I do agree that playing one of the streams (may I strongly suggest the 128K AAC one?) in a standalone player like VLC (or iTunes, or whatever floats your personal boat) is intrinsically way more reliable than any player running in a web browser.
