h’lo h’lo hey

You know I’m happy to hear Circle Time again when I’m even commenting on bob beeblebobble dylan. Cheers.
  3:08am
Mark R:

Thanks for joining us, Scraps, always great to see you! Please enjoy the show tonight, I'll understand if your comments are minimal. Happy listening!

Thank you Mark R. It’s really good to hear you.

hey Mark Welcome back!
  3:50am
Mark R:

Thanks, Coel, good to see ya!

coelacanth∅:

i'll be listening via fm, or at least that's the plan
so probably turn off the computer soon; but eventually circle time will rock me to sleep.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:01am
coelacanth∅:

i can't even choose a favorite color or a favorite fruit or a favorite color hair for a woman!
...or a favorite "genre" of music.
- favorite debut? how 'bout a top 30?!
  4:02am
Mark R:

Yes, it's a toughie! What about "Cheap Thrills"? That's gotta be a contender.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:08am
coelacanth∅:

yeah for sure! but -with the beatles (as you said); everybody knows this is nowhere; curtis!; the pretty things.....and that's just sticking to that general era.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:10am
coelacanth∅:

"the doors" was great but i do think there are a few not incredible tracks on it. (actually "till there was you" on with the beatles isn't so great either - to me)
  4:12am
Mark R:

I concur, sir. The Beatles used to do show tunes like that during their lives sets at places like the Cavern and in Hamburg to let everybody sort of chill out and probably get a bit of a break themselves. But it's sure a bringdown on the record. Although when my kids were little, we used to get a nice laugh out of the way he pronounced, "but I never sawr them winging..."
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:12am
coelacanth∅:

"san francisco's grateful dead" is perfect, in my opinion. (and their best album)
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:14am
coelacanth∅:

haha we did too! (my parents brought meet the beatles home when i was really little)
i forgot about that! -but i didn't like "this boy" either then. i love it now.
  4:14am
Mark R:

According to my board, 29 people have clicked that Headroom track as a favorite when other DJs have played it, and I think we've only had the record in the library about 2 weeks! I certainly understand why, it's a stone groove, ain't it?
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:17am
coelacanth∅:

that's funny i thought i'd golded that star already too, but i just looked and not only does it not show my click but also nobody else's.

This 4 albums from Autechre last year is just great. They are going from strength to strength. How they do this, so much music that is awesome (to me) is astonishing.

fred:

Hello Mark, Scraps, and everyone
  4:29am
Mark R:

Hiya Fred. Dig the weirdness. The next set will have some more conventional "songy" songs. But hopefully you'll find them as entertaining as this.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 4:31am
coelacanth∅:

hey fred -i'm on my way out.
-turning computer off but not wfmu so Thanks Mark good to hear you again.
take care Scraps and everyone.

Avatar Swag For Life Member 5:41am
Cmurtha:

I am digging it
  5:42am
Mark R:

Wouldn't be suprsised to hear some bagpipes on Jonesy's show later, Fred. I'm sure it will be very emotional. Tough week for everyone around here this week, that's for sure. X-Ray was truly beloved.
  5:59am
Mark R:

Thanks for staying up late/getting up early with me this morning, folks. Have a great week!
