	1:11pm Kat in Chicago: @queems me too. I've been knitting with bulky yarn this winter, which I don't enjoy as much, but I actually finished a sweater and hope to get a jacket done as well.
	1:15pm queems: @kat i've been meaning to learn how to knit because i want to make sweaters! i found this gorgeous pattern for a crocheted sweater but i haven't yet invested in the yarn required to make it
	1:17pm Kat in Chicago: @queems I think knitting is harder than crochet, but it's definitely more versatile for wearables, so I took it up. I knit a lot of socks because a sock is an easy project to carry around and work on when you're on the train or in a waiting room.
	1:19pm queems: @kat definitely. i tend to start a lot of blanket projects and then realize that they aren't very portable for commuting. but i just love making blankets. i recently got into filet crochet which is basically crocheting pictures into a grid. it's really cool, but you use that cotton thread for it, and it takes forever

(even more difficult on wednesdays, when the ichiban serves up 2 excellent shows as well)

	2:44pm coelacanth∅: thursday's have been my favorite days on wfmu for years - through many schedule changes. unfortunately true, Diane's gone; but Olivia is here; and the drummer stream later on makes it really hard to choose sometimes. (even more difficult on wednesdays, when the ichiban serves up 2 excellent shows as well)
