It's only really interesting to be with people when they're in their vulnerability. It's better to be with someone when they're making mistakes and don't know what to do, than someone who's being so sure-footed and phony. That's not interesting at all.  0:18:35 (MP3 | Pop-up)

WTJU's recording wasn't working for the first 22 minutes so I had to string together other sources. mossy! A little bit of you made it into the show. But not the part where you're thanking Revolution Rabbit
Avatar 5:10pm
Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

It's funny, I'm all freaking out because WTJU doesn't have a backup recorder, and meanwhile I'm automatically making two backup recordings of my own on auto-pilot, because that's what obsessiveness is.
Avatar 5:11pm
mossy lightouse:

Yes, i am not sure that part would have fit, so it worked out quite well to have everything be jumping between mediums!

You are both the artist, engineer and producer within one person, it is a good instinct to follow!

If you want a 100, you have to reach a show number that is a square. Then pick its square root as the base.
Maybe pick any show number and say the square root is the base. I don't know about non-integer bases, but it's your show, your rules. An irrational base could have some appeal

I used to be more paranoid especially about gaslihgting (not the clips from the old film that you sometimes play)! Thankfully yesterday I revisited the writings about Siddhartha under the Bodhi tree for the first time in a while and i see the parallels!

Gaslighting isn't fun. Is it happening sometimes? I encountered it just a week ago.

I remember starting up a hidden web server so I could host this site originally on a funny port

Kenzo (Ken's Last Ever):

I had to restart it every morning because they stopped it at 4am every day. It was just a list of episodes and also random links to the growing web

I briefly heard a mention of a compilation set of shows, possibly 50+ hours of Ken's best...
How do you buy that set, I don't see any mention of the set on your website. LOVE the show. There are many Buddhist concepts and experiences integrated into the soundscape.

Over the past few years, I have caught snippets of your show, always at a time of day that I need some positive support when my energy is running down in the afternoon. I didn't know until Monday that the show had compilations of previous shows, nor did I know that the show has had such a long run ! It has seemed to me that either you have studied and practiced Buddhism or your are naturally inclined to incorporate Buddhist thought into your commentary and soundscapes.

Anyway, I am very comforted by the show while also being engaged in the thought patterns, an interesting combination.

There are a few compilation DVD's available, plus some CD's, which I'd made as premiums for past fundraising marathons. Get in touch and I can send you whatever you want.
