A live, improvised sound collage experiment, going back 28 years, weaving mesmerizing new soundscapes from found and collected materials right in the present moment.
Pop music, speeches, live phone calls and spontaneous monologues become ambient loopy layered threads riding the liminal spaces between waking and dreaming. [On hiatus.]

Sharon Stone with Garry Shandling | If you're not in your vulnerability, nothing is interesting | Garry Shandling meets Sharon Stone | 2007 | They didn't want to be in their truth or vulnerability; they wanted to be in their mask, and their whole acting out of how fabulous they were. It's only really interesting to be with people when they're in their vulnerability. It's better to be with someone when they're making mistakes and don't know what to do, than someone who's being so sure-footed and phony. That's not interesting at all. | 0:18:35 (MP3 | Pop-up) | |||||

Mary Jo:
How do you buy that set, I don't see any mention of the set on your website. LOVE the show. There are many Buddhist concepts and experiences integrated into the soundscape.
Over the past few years, I have caught snippets of your show, always at a time of day that I need some positive support when my energy is running down in the afternoon. I didn't know until Monday that the show had compilations of previous shows, nor did I know that the show has had such a long run ! It has seemed to me that either you have studied and practiced Buddhism or your are naturally inclined to incorporate Buddhist thought into your commentary and soundscapes.
Anyway, I am very comforted by the show while also being engaged in the thought patterns, an interesting combination.
