Yes, cats are survivors. On their worst day they make a typical human (you know, an idiot) look like a helpless child. Their instincts make them survivors in situations when we would probably curl up and die. And more power to you, Pseu for caring about them, you rule!

@-believe it or not at the age of 49 I learned I can have my internal conversation (silent that is) while discussing things with people I may disagree with. I try using logic and facts and Socrate's method (ask questions) in order to pursuade when I absolutely have to. Also, with people who have views 180 degrees from mine I try to find favorable things to say about people I virulently disagree with. For example, I agree that President Obama really helped my family survive by extending unemployment benefits when I was out of work all of 2010. Also, he did a good job opening talks with Cuba, should have been done 40 years ago or more.

Poo story: one time in the Air Force on my first night of mid-shift (midnight duty). The seargant in charge of us was a bit of a..."character"....He opened the bathroom door and said"hey-come here, you have to see this". In the toilet was an unbelievably large diameter turd. It was the girth of a one liter bottle. It was so big it spanned the porceline just above water level. We were....agog and could not believe such a turd could exist, much less one made by a man. It did not smelll. He must have been pranking us. I think. Not sure, to this day. Wow. He said it was " a leaner, just like in horseshoes.". Wow, I am laughing just posting this.
