	6:11am Daybreak the VOTER {:-)}: My kids have a two hour delay here in Boonton, I have a two hour delay for my school in Rockaway/Denville, NJ. However my lovely wife still needs to get in the work on time since she had to come home from work early yesterday to get the kids from their early release. What does this mean? It means that despite what I did to my upper back muscles on Wednesday night raking the leaves so they wouldn’t get frozen to the ground, we’ve got to go chip away at the driveway which was mildly blockaded by plows at the bottom. However, a little coffee, some warm clothes, some teamwork, and some very slow and steady effort might be nice. Now it’s time to do what I never do, that I always need to do: stretch! Stretch like my back depends on it! Because it actually does!

	8:03am Daybreak the Shoveler {:-)}: Hey everyone! If you have to shovel, as has been said the snow is very heavy with ice and the extra moisture this morning. The best way I’ve found to save my back this morning was to pick a designated end point, get my shovel down in front of me, get the handle rested against the thick top of my snow pants, and then start walking forward like officer Dink Dority: slow and steady. You can get pretty far before you run out of steam, and you’re really using momentum more than muscles! Good luck especially to you @Colleen w/ 14!

However, once when watching a movie w/ my wife (while wearing ankle boots), I saw one scurry across the floor, I went to stomp the floor to scare it away so my wife wouldn't notice. To my horror, it was under my boot, dead. We used steel wool and caulk on all pipe/floor/wall interfaces, and any other holes, and they disappeared.

	6:11am Daybreak the VOTER {:-)}: My kids have a two hour delay here in Boonton, I have a two hour delay for my school in Rockaway/Denville, NJ. However my lovely wife still needs to get in the work on time since she had to come home from work early yesterday to get the kids from their early release. What does this mean? It means that despite what I did to my upper back muscles on Wednesday night raking the leaves so they wouldn’t get frozen to the ground, we’ve got to go chip away at the driveway which was mildly blockaded by plows at the bottom. However, a little coffee, some warm clothes, some teamwork, and some very slow and steady effort might be nice. Now it’s time to do what I never do, that I always need to do: stretch! Stretch like my back depends on it! Because it actually does!

The best way I’ve found to save my back this morning was to pick a designated end point, get my shovel down in front of me, get the handle rested against the thick top of my snow pants, and then start walking forward like officer Dink Dority: slow and steady. You can get pretty far before you run out of steam, and you’re really using momentum more than muscles! Good luck especially to you @Colleen w/ 14!

However, once when watching a movie w/ my wife (while wearing ankle boots), I saw one scurry across the floor, I went to stomp the floor to scare it away so my wife wouldn't notice. To my horror, it was under my boot, dead. We used steel wool and caulk on all pipe/floor/wall interfaces, and any other holes, and they disappeared.
