	6:11pm Mr Fab: Hey, I had an Elvis impersonator wedding in Vegas. And we're still together 20 years later!
	6:12pm spacebrother: Mine lasted 10 years. We drove all night from L.A.
	6:13pm spacebrother: Maybe we should have gone to the Elvis place!
	6:13pm DJ GeorgyGirl: What made you both opt for Vegas? (Which sounds like so fun to me to be honest)
	6:14pm Otis Fodder: Loved that 7" of sights and sounds. Listening here, about to make spaghetti and meatballs with a side o' crap.
	6:17pm Don-O: My first Vegas trip started off with my mom and her boyfriend thinking that it would take 8 hours to go to Vegas from LA. We arrived SO early, that we had to sleep/wait it out in the lobby of the Tropicana until our room as ready....3 hours later. One of many lessons learned that trip.
	6:18pm Don-O: Yea, that sound of the slot machines sounds like nails in a tumbler. Authentic!!
	6:18pm spacebrother: Desperation. We were impulsive. We'd been together a year or so. I waited at her front door until she got home and asked if she would marry me. We took off immediately. Don't know if that was a smart thing to do, but it was a (mostly) fun 10 years.
	6:18pm Mr Fab: The Graceland Chapel, still in business. Why get married there? Neon lights, booze, gambling, lounge performers, Elvis impersonators, people throwing their life savings away...What better way to cement a relationship than with everything we hold dear?
	6:19pm spacebrother: This is a slice of Vegas I've never experienced. Nice work, Don.

	6:19pm Don-O: I would not be surprise if they build a chapel in the middle of Fremont St. Experience.

	6:22pm spacebrother: I've got a few friends in Vegas. One is actually a local news anchor.
	6:23pm Don-O: BTW, the casino sound you hear in the background from from the Friends Forever OST.
	6:23pm Rich in Washington: my first marriage was going to be a simple courthouse affair, but some flakey chapel owner managed to bamboozle my fiancee into booking there while she was at the courthouse getting paperwork. So we have this tiny wedding in the basement of some old office building. My dad was there, looked around and said 'this used to be the city coroner's office in the 50s'. That marriage lasted four years.
	6:24pm Mr Fab: Yeah, I started going to Vegas in the waning days of the Rat Pack era. Used to see cats like Sam Butera in the lounges, which scarcely exist nowadays. Don't have much use for the place anymore.
	6:26pm spacebrother: Last good show I saw there was Wayne Newton about 10 years ago, I think.
	6:27pm Mr Fab: yeah, we saw Wayne! He ran around the room hugging the ladies. Mrs Fab said he was sweaty.
	6:27pm Don-O: I remember seeing a video of Sam Butera from the early 80's where he was performing at the Trop. There's video excerpts from a planned doc called Appearing Nightly from the early 90's that I FREAKIN' wish that guy would finish.
	6:28pm spacebrother: He played his banjo and had a sore throat. Still good, though. I mean it was WAYNE.
