Last year Ken did a state of the station, and said they were doing a bunch of things to turn around a few years of deficit spending (two fund raisers, selling parking lot, etc). Very good, glisteners! A Certain Ratio and Modern Lovers (The Modern Lovers? I'm not sure if they use the 'The'). I don't think Modern Lovers took their name from this song, as A Certain Ratio did, but I could be wrong. I'm not aware of a band called The Central Shaft (but that would be a pretty good name).

One more, I think the easiest, since it is named in the first line and because I love them - 801.

Still it sure was an exciting part of my day! Right up there with hearing The Bedazzler and yelling, shouting, and dancing the whole time.
