	10:11pm Dean: Funny you mention large zucchini. I have a couple here--not monumentally huge, but slightly overweight--and I'm uncertain about how to use them. Usually, I just simmer them slowly in olive oil and add blue cheese, but these would make large coins. I might just scrape one of them into meatballs, add it to ground turkey and herbs along with bread crumbs, broil them for several minutes, and simmer them in tomato sauce.

	10:38pm Dean: Bigfat's is good, very good. The 808 is smoky (in addition to hot), and therefore less amenable to a wide variety of dishes, but the 708 is only less hot--and it's a mutha--but citrusy, and wonderful on a lot of things.

	10:42pm Dean: My favorite dish in town is matrimonios: grilled anchovies on crostini with a dollop of aioli. It's served at a restaurant next door to Chez Panisse. It's fishy as hell, and garlicky as hell. Utter bliss. I want it for breakfast every day.
