Fredricks; spot on about concrete cracking from too much rebar. Steel and concrete have different expansion and contraction rates.
Engineers love too put to much steel (rebar) into their designs which exacerbates that problem. Especially in deck slab corners.
Fibers and steel each have their place, however fibers are not as strong as rebar in many applications.

We had the pup in his little trailer/stroller as a portable crate backstage, and angled it so he could see us. (He’s a rescue and his only real issue is separation anxiety.).
Young boy was whimpering so much our mermaid stage hand brought him up on stage with us in his pirate outfit, where he howled along with us for a song and then promptly took a nap on stage.
