I was lucky enough to witness Buddy and his band live in a very small club around 97. When I walked in there was nobody there but the bartender, myself & there was Buddy sitting on this little stage. He was sitting on a stool and playing the Bass. I walked to him sputtering praises and shit...he reluctently shook my hand. He and the band were so good it was rediculous. Mindblowing to say the least. His voice was in top form...everything was. But the real mind blower was at the end of the show Buddy switched from drums to lead guitar. Not only did he slay on that thing he played the thing upside down...yes, strings upside down also. A very very underrared and awesome talent to say the very least. One of the best shows I ever witnessed.
