Bot boy howdy, you should have heard the reactions just the other day to my perfectly boffo related idea! Picture this: a musical theatre version of Hamlet, featuring tunes everybody knows with the lyrics just a little bit rewritten!
Early on, we'd have the song just under discussion, but improved to:
"Hooked on Ophelia!"
Later on, Our pal Hamlet would feature this improved version of The 59th Street Bridge Song:
"Feelin' Moody!"
Can't miss, I tell ya.

At the very least, I wanted to see the show which had That Theme Song, but it didn't disappoint – mobsters with pug-ugly character-filled faces, men in proper suits and hats, and (as Julie London just put me in mind of) the torch singer in the smoky jazz club. Composed shots. Filmed in noir and white and more noir.
I think I'll want to immerse myself in it for a few evenings.
