Hi Evan and all. Excited to be listening live for the first time in ages.

Hey Evan, you timed your comment to the Melbourne band singing about a cat! Nice work!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 9:47pm

:)

Eddy in Australia:

P.S. Carolyn from School Damage, who was once in Chook Race, is now also in Parsnip, who have a great EP out. Only Nate K seems to have played it on WFMU so far. Get thee to the record library!
  9:49pm
Eddy in Australia:

Every time this Velveteen Rabbit song comes on, I think it's an outtake from the first Blondie album.
  9:55pm
Eddy in Australia:

Lumpy the cat belongs to Carolyn and Jake from the band. Jake is in about every second Melbourne/Geelong band (Ausmuteants, Hierophants, Alien Nosejob, School Damage, etc.).
  9:58pm
Eddy in Australia:

Evan: Well spotted on that mastering credit. I'm thinking of starting a band called Mastered by Mikey Young. I'll take a break from the comments board now ...

I'd like to think I'm one of the world's biggest Curve fans and yes indeed that made me think of Curve's guitars. BTW Dean Garcia has various cool projects going now such as SPC ECO and S T F U but none are quite as good as Curve was.
