Once I went to get some materials and my boss, upon hearing the latter, a screechy rake solo, thought a piece of machinery was breaking down and in a panic, couldn't figure out how to turn off my tape player, so in a panic, he threw it across the room.
He was really apologetic afterwards, and even offered to replace my boombox.
