July 16, 2018: Do Androids Dream of Electric Pigeons?
This week on the podcast, the robots take over and we’re all doomed—S.A.M. leads the machine-takeover of Wake and Bake and ‘Tech Pie’ reports that Facebook is bringing up the rear. But hey—at least we can all take comfort in knowing why they’re called robots, right? And maybe they can help clean up that slippery detergent spill or determine which cheese is artisanal—surely it can at least tell us where we can catch showings of ‘The 36th Chamber of Shaolin.’ And if all else fails, we can trust in brainy octopi to lead the resistance.
