Baby, do you possibly have anything in a hard-driving Surf/Country/Twang band today? Possibly live? With witty interview segments? It's a tall order, I know. I just have a hankering for this particular combination of show today. Is there any way you can help me? Oh, and please sprinkle in tons of #1 Hits, if it's not too much trouble.

Listener John from NJ:

It just occurred to me that I probably would have been afraid to pick up any of the Ramones if I saw them hitchhiking on the way to Rockaway Beach.

How'd I ever miss that version if Rockaway Beach? Brand new to me!

Paul Bernard:

As seen on Twitter: Over 5 hours in the Macca presale queue only to be told no tickets available and apparently haven’t been for hours. Lots of insanely priced tickets on reseller sites though! Really awful method, lots of real fans missed out again!
  11:37am
JakeGould:

Makes me wistful for wristbands and physical lines. Technology seems to make it easier for scalpers to electronically score tickets quicker than real people can. Really sucks.
