	11:35pm Dean: Seems The Cowsills encountered a bit of controversy with the Remo Capra tune. Evidently, The Beatles' "Ballad of John and Yoko" was at risk of being banned, and for some reason so was the Cowsills' tune for being "offensive" or "blasphemous."
	11:35pm coelacanth∅: i like it; though the early, quartet stuff may be more my cuppa.
	11:36pm Funky16Corners: @Dean - I did not know that! I can see why.
	11:38pm Funky16Corners: Wow! I just looked and that song charted Top 40 in a bunch of markets! I'm shocked.
	11:38pm Dean: This was reported in the June 28, 1969, Billboard. Remo appears many times in the press, especially around 1960.
	11:39pm Funky16Corners: Do you know anything else about him?
	11:42pm Dean: I don't, but I have access to databases that report one way or another on him.
	11:42pm rw: Hey FT! Yeah, I normally try to do a bike ride in the afternoon if I'm working from home but ditched it to have a a few beers with a couple friends instead. It was nice but now I feel a little like a slug.

	11:45pm Funky16Corners: I think with a lot of the harmony pop, if the sound hits you in your pleasure centers (as it does to me) you seek it out in all forms, following it down all kinds of dark, unexplored alleys.

	11:35pm Dean: Seems The Cowsills encountered a bit of controversy with the Remo Capra tune. Evidently, The Beatles' "Ballad of John and Yoko" was at risk of being banned, and for some reason so was the Cowsills' tune for being "offensive" or "blasphemous."
