USA Out of Vietnam sounds a bit like Chrome with its sweeping use of flanger effect. Weird, disturbing, heavy and unusual.
Avatar 12:58pm
Chris from DC:

Thought I would never get out of that meeting. Rock.

i read about USA Out of Vientnam on Discogs. They are VERY unique in the various styles they use.

What kind of Red Pill are they singing about here? The literal one from The Matrix, or the one about neomasculinity? Any ideas, board?

Checking in from Yerevan!

@Wild Neil they are singing about the red pill of the communist revolution.)))

@FT-word up to Armenia! Looks like you had a nice warm day there today!
Avatar 1:11pm
Wild Neil||Peace All:

@FT-is that another name it goes by or are you referring to the ((((communist revolution)))? Or just the Communist Revolution per se?
Avatar 1:13pm

Oh, I looked it up ))) are just extra smileys in your neck of the woods, never mind my confusing reply!

Ken From Hyde Park:

Hi, Diane and rockin' people!
  1:17pm
Fashion Tashjian:

@Wild Neil I think it was THE communist revolution because they sounded very angry and determined to shout away at the capitalist pigs, but I could be wrong. Our singer is a communist and writes songs about red stuff like the other angry guys.
Avatar 1:20pm
Wild Neil||Peace All:

There is a really interesting progressive theme running through this part of the show.
@FT: I am a dyed in the wool capitalist myself, but hate the greed aspect and corruption aspect such as our banks that were bailed out simply because they were "too big to fail." Iceland got it right, they said, "FU, you failed , too bad so sad, get somebody will buy your dumb ass now. "
My wife is from Poland and absolutely hates communism as do I.
However, the music form Leng T'che is really great!

W/o live music, I wither and die. When taking care of my mom for almost a year in FL, I was too busy when I was in NYC on occasion. I was truly depressed b/c I didn't seeing live music. After my first live show, I was euphoric and immediately felt better.

Dammit I go hop out to meet a person and miss VOIVOD, plus I came in late and missed Insect Ark and Preston, damn I'm messing up. @Wild Neil I will contact you for the link

@NGH-NESTS are terrifying to me, little death FACTORIES of pain and stinging. I hate killing any living thing, but I will NOT negotiate with nature's terrorists, sorry. Ants are ok, but hornets/yellow jackets/wasps good-bye. Love honey bees and bumble bees. They are ok.

@NGH-WHATEVER you do shell out $600 for the home inspection. DON"T accept the seller's home inspection from a third party, never ever ever ever. I did and I am SO SORRY I did!!!!!
