Fania All Stars!

(Once found a Fania Recs record in the middle of the street in the rain in Astoria, Queens, about 5 years ago, it was in good condition minus the water damage to the album).

On said trip, I saw a van w/ a tribute to Hector Levoe on the back.

That Madlib album cover is an example of when furry and Donnie Darko nightmares intersect.

@RickyOnSignalMtn.: That's a favorite record of mine (have it on vinyl). My wife claims Jim as her secret boyfriend (as her "celebrity crush".)

@northguineahills.: Fav of mine too. Couple of those Jim O'Rourke records came with amazing posters.

Unfortunately, back in the day, a not so nice roommate, tore them down, didn't pay rent, an left w/o notice, leaving me paying for said rent. They were nice posters.

I got to hag w/ Jim on a few occasions when he was in NYC. He even recognized me on the street and Other Recs, He's a really nice guy!

(in FL now).

Ciccone Youth (a band Jim would join for a while two decades later).
