Sadr (Gamma Cygni)
Sadr is the third brightest star in the constellation Cygnus and forms the intersecting point of an asterism known as the Northern Cross. In Arabic, sadr means "breast" or "chest" and refers to the star's position at the heart of the swan-constellation. Sadr, also called Gamma Cygni, is 150 times the size of our Sun and its yellow light reaches Earth after traveling approximately 1800 light-years across the Milky Way.
