@BEAVO i think Principal Edwards took themselves more seriously than any of the Canterbury crowd. Often described as "pretensious". But I quite enjoyed that. And yeah, I could hear the Annie Haslam.

Another Exeter University band from that era were Fuchsia, who made one beautiful (eponymous) acid-folk-type album. Well worth checking out.
