	9:26pm dug: @northguineahills, sorry to hear that man. hope she recovers. it is unreal, i grew up skating half pipes, skied into trees a couple times. long soccer career into college. sprains, hyper-extended knee, fractures. this pain is on a whole nother level.

	9:31pm northguineahills: Woah, dug, I played for the USY U-14 team (before it was officially called that), then I ripped a tendon and meniscus, and I was 22 before I could play again (I have arthritis to this day:. The weird thing about my missus, she goes to the gym regularly, commutes via bike, but she carried a shit ton of groceries the day before, and all she did was stand up, and everything went out of whack. (she's also under a lot of stress b/c of the new immigration restrictions (she had her last interview in the four year process, and has yet to get an answer, where every previous year, it was a half hour rubber stamp apparoval) and I took a job down here.
	9:31pm Carmichael: I had back surgery about 20 years ago, then some adjustment surgery 5 years ago. Right as rain now, but I feel your pain.

	9:38pm Carmichael: 2 years after my 1st surgery, I ran a marathon. And I have diligently ran 10ks for the last decade, so yes there’s hope.

	9:44pm northguineahills: @dug: Yes, enacted in Feb. She makes more then me, and I do well for myself. But, our lawyer thinks b/c she's Mexican, they're screwing w/ us. We had to ask our banks, insurers, and employers to create documents that they had to create from scratch. It's been three weeks.
	9:45pm northguineahills: Cumbia, uno de mis generos favoritos! (sort of how I met my wife 11 years ago, I played a cumbia rebajada/ baile funk set in Monterrey, Mx).
	9:47pm dug: i dont think it was ever easy. i have a friend who used to live in CO, married a canadian. around 2005 he almost got thrown out of the immigration office when the guy suggested it was a sham marriage and he's raging cause they have two kids who are like 6 and 4. he said he wanted to clean the guy's clock.
	9:49pm northguineahills: When this goes through, She'll be eligible for citizenship next year. (We don't want her to go through it in FL, NYC will more likely have more sympathetic staff). We don't have kids or own property together, which is why we had to jump all of these hoops all of a sudden.
