	11:28am Listener Robert: Thanks for the help. If the documentation is correct, this is a find. It says the Jules Allen version was from 1928. Wikipedia says "I'm Popeye The Sailor Man was, composed by Sammy Lerner in 1933. So Lerner may have lifted this one for the melody.

Maybe somebody has the time & resources here to find out whether he ripped this one off or what.
