A live, improvised sound collage experiment, going back 28 years, weaving mesmerizing new soundscapes from found and collected materials right in the present moment.
Pop music, speeches, live phone calls and spontaneous monologues become ambient loopy layered threads riding the liminal spaces between waking and dreaming. [On hiatus.]

I have had no phone, even woth a bell, fo ten years. Just a voice mail service. Now I use google to call out---which is gross, of couse. Needing a smartphone and having to be willing to send "tons" of texts is ......... I fell speechless.

Someone at the coop, maybe someone named Yuri, said that they wished someone would send them a weirdo package like that. I said, maybe someone will. I never know if someone wants the bits of earth I mail across the earth to them, and so maybe they don't know also. Once, I mailed Fall leaves from Olympia WA, to Japan. A tiny note inside said, It's Fall here, what is it there?" I wonder if you ever opened that box of dirt and flowers? I wonder if the bulbs instead grew through the box, into the earth of the base of the stairs. I wonder if the whole place changed from a staircase to like a softly sloping meadow? Maybe some things are better left unopened?
