That's what I thought Sem had typed at first in his 12:07 comment, so I didn't have to stretch at all! It was purely my "honest" initial optical illusion!

It's on the floor near the table you put it last. It could also be in the laundry.

maybe i'm overthinking it but it might be awkward
Avatar 2:28pm
Mary Wing:

Hey there, Bob, thanks for catching the last hour!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:28pm
Ike:

@βrian, not everyone is aware that "pho" is pronounced "fuh". That makes that an extra good restaurant name.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:30pm
coelacanth∅:

i can't seem to find adequate information on when to cut off a fairly big magnolia branch. i'm going to go look at it for a while.

I once knew a guy who had a restaurant called Fukyo. He said he loved answering the phone basically saying "fuck you!" with his heavy Japanese accent.

Beating a dead horse I know but, there are a number of Thai restaurants named Phuket
Avatar 2:52pm
northguineahills:

Wouldn't Fukyo be pronounced Fu-key-o? (fukyo means something somewhat shameful, or fault, it's hard to contextualize).
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:52pm
david w:

If anyone needs gardening help, Ruth is pretty deep into it, including trees. Just grab us at Ridgewood Radio next. And thanks, Mary! Fab!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:53pm
Ike:

I'm beating an even deader horse & ruining the party, but Phuket is pronounced with a "p" and not an "f" sound (the "h" has no real function in most transliterations from Thai, such as the word "Thai" itself, otherwise you'd pronounce it "thigh").
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:55pm
Listener Bob in PGH:

NGH - yes that's how we all pronounced it but I think he was taking liberties with it. I also think he was just kidding mainly. He didn't really want to insult his customers. But it was a funny thought and if he was having a bad day it could be an option.
  2:56pm
βrian:

As in, thigh massage? That works for me.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:57pm
Listener Bob in PGH:

Ike - I figured it didn't really sound like what it looks like. But up on a big sign one can giggle a little bit!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 2:58pm
Listener Bob in PGH:

Most Americans would end up pronouncing it "Foo Ket".
