Those Alan Watts talks were regularly broadcast on KSAN SF while Watts was still alive. I grew up listening to them with the lights off and the moon shining through my window.

Yes! The playlist is basically like you are listening to an orchestral performance and transcribing the notes and dynamics for multiple instruments into something that is more open ended than music notation. It is another part of the shows! : )
