I'm back with today's public service message. On this playlist you'll now see a link to the 128 AAC stream we've had up quietly for a number of months, but which is now advertised prominently on KDB-generated playlist pages thanks to our friend Kenzo.
If your streamy player (hint: VLC is a good one if you don't already have a favorite) supports AAC, I recommend using this 128k AAC stream instead of the 128k MP3 one. Same bandwidth use, but I think the AAC stream is somewhere between a little and a lot better sounding depending on the music.
MP3 particularly sucks when hit with record surface noise, and you may have noticed that WFMU DJs sometimes play vinyl.
