My old building in Bushwick got infested by bedbugs. My cthulhu, that was a nightmare. My wife and I had to throw out, or throw all clothing in a dryer for 1.5 hours, and seal our mattress after the two exterminator visits (thanks to NYC laws, our landlord had to foot the bill for the exterminator). It took us a good three months to find an actual bedbug before we knew what was biting us. I still have night terrors.

Heard about the old Mercury Theater in Knoxville about an hour ago. I lived in ‘Knox-Vegas’ back in the day as a Univ. of Tennessee student and went to many shows at the Mercury: Superdrag, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Archers of Loaf, & Polvo (to name a few). Great times!
