AS AN 8YO i was caught up with some neighbor kids who thought it might be fun to throw dirt clods at cars from a hillside construction site.
Didn't one pickup driver steer right in and instruct us in no uncertain terms as to how stupid we were being?
I never forgot his stern lecture. Because he was providing words to live by, after all.
