Turning over the toy box and jamming together the gloriously mismatched musical Lincoln Logs, Legos and Tinker Toys from Tin Pan Alley pluggers, pickled egg tavern weepers, lockstep soul ensembles, skinny-tie power poppers, Eurotrash ravers, moontanned art school rockers, drunken soccer anthems and anything else that seems like a good idea at the time. There are no guilty pleasures.

The old Steely always got the nostalgia cuing flavor. And too bad, now the Steely knives are out between the living and departed interests.

My nephew comes home from college I ask him what folks are listening these days. He plays plays me a band called Knocked Loose. I leap up from my chair crying "Sweet Jesus-Moses its the apocalypse and the devil is upon us" Then I think wait I used to listen to Tesco Vee, the Misfits, Negative Approach, Flipper, Minor Threat, SS Decontrol, Big Boys and Big Black. What am I going on about.
Kids these days

I'm glad I wasn't brainwashed with today's music. I appreciate the older more musically sound pieces of yesteryear.
