The next to last one my knee cartilage got infected and I had to be removed. By age 30, I running became too painful, and by 32, walking up the stairs also became painful on some days. I refuse to take pain killers of any stripe except in emergencies, maybe once every 3 months.
	8:33am queems: @jess and if you notice something changing, bother your doctor about it until s/he listens to you. and if s/he doesn’t listen, get a second opinion

	8:39am Linda Lee: don't get me started on judgements against kratom, BnowB. it doesn't help that there's a lot of truly bogus information out there for them to look at, as well. there is good info available though, backed by study, in connection with advocacy. yes, there are many many different strains & many different kinds of quality too. i swear by it now. i'd literally be bedridden without it. i'm not alone at all, either. we estimate ~ if you go by sales figures ~ that millions of Americans are now supplementing their health care with kratom. many of us, like myself, use no pharmaceuticals at all, only kratom.

	8:55am Linda Lee: melinda, i use a combination of strains, depending on what i need at the time. generally use a base of red, since my main issue is pain, with green for focus, a mellow white for energy. with kratom it's all about the vendor. there's a wide range of quality. i rarely hear that kratom does nothing unless the quality is not so good.

	8:56am Linda Lee: melinda, you also have to experiment with dose. since it's not standardized, you're not always able to find the optimum dose for your condition. it takes experimentation. ie, i'm using about 9 grams per dose. that's about 3 tsp. it's highly individual. some people do fine on half that, some need twice that.

The next to last one my knee cartilage got infected and I had to be removed. By age 30, I running became too painful, and by 32, walking up the stairs also became painful on some days. I refuse to take pain killers of any stripe except in emergencies, maybe once every 3 months.

	8:39am Linda Lee: don't get me started on judgements against kratom, BnowB. it doesn't help that there's a lot of truly bogus information out there for them to look at, as well. there is good info available though, backed by study, in connection with advocacy. yes, there are many many different strains & many different kinds of quality too. i swear by it now. i'd literally be bedridden without it. i'm not alone at all, either. we estimate ~ if you go by sales figures ~ that millions of Americans are now supplementing their health care with kratom. many of us, like myself, use no pharmaceuticals at all, only kratom.

	8:55am Linda Lee: melinda, i use a combination of strains, depending on what i need at the time. generally use a base of red, since my main issue is pain, with green for focus, a mellow white for energy. with kratom it's all about the vendor. there's a wide range of quality. i rarely hear that kratom does nothing unless the quality is not so good.

	8:56am Linda Lee: melinda, you also have to experiment with dose. since it's not standardized, you're not always able to find the optimum dose for your condition. it takes experimentation. ie, i'm using about 9 grams per dose. that's about 3 tsp. it's highly individual. some people do fine on half that, some need twice that.
