Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:19pm

around, lurking trying to get my wire sub updated, but my bank isn't used to me spending scratch, especially in the UK. It's a nice problem to have.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:38pm
Alex In Illinois:

We're all out of inflatable models, how about single-use freeze-dried, just add water models?

Haven't heard this Dolly before!
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:40pm
Uncle Michael:

Never heard that Dolly before. Nice.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:41pm
Funky16Corners:

It's kind of a sleeper with the Northern Soul crowd. Kind of hard to find and pricey. I got lucky with a cheapie.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:41pm
Uncle Michael:

My bank shut down my debit card when I was in North Carolina between the time I rented a car with it and tried to use it to check into the hotel. I discovered this after banking hours on a Saturday, with the car department closed till Monday.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:42pm
Funky16Corners:

That sucks
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:43pm
Uncle Michael:

If my wife wasn't along on the trip with her card, I'd have slept in that rental car.
Avatar Swag For Life Member 10:44pm
Uncle Michael:

OK, time for me to cut the lights, too.

@UM: I once was visiting my bros in FL (when I was in NYC), and my bank sent me a new ATM card even though my old one didn't expire for two more years. It was working the day before, and driving my brother's car a good 3.5 hours to Ft Myers Beach for a wedding. I was running out of gas, and my car was declined. I called the bank and they said I should have had my new one by now so the old one had been rendered void. Luckily, my brother had about $7 in change in his car, so by the time I pulled into my friends' hotel, my car was below E (then I had to borrow money for the rest of the weekend).

Nothing worse that being caught suddenly cashless
Avatar Swag For Life Member 11:02pm

Sounds good on a big booming sound system too
